E-Mail Service

I am pleased to report that the problems reported by our e-mail users have now been resolved. This was simply down to a rogue symbol that disabled the service following the succesful move between hosting providers.

If you were expecting an e-mail and have not received it, then we would advise you to contact the sender and request it to be sent again.

All other parts of the move have gone well and we have been busy enjoying the good weather. Watch out though, it’s likely to rain on Sunday!

Heatwave

Well I said it before, but it looks like the summer really is here this time!
Plus we have been busy putting the finishing touches to the Invigra portal. I know its taken a while, in fact its been a very long while but we really are now in the final stages.
This is Invigra, web hosting, music, links, news, dating and shopping. We hope you like it!
Now we just have to get on with the daily work, sourcing new and exciting websites, reviewing them, finding new music videos and of course reviewing everything we do and changing it if we need to.
And did I mention that we also offer superb value web hosting?
You can get your own web site online for just £2.99 per month with a free domain name. That is just £35.88 per year for your own online presence plus we give you a free sitebuilder and blogging software. Give it a try, we even offer a 30 day money back guarantee so you really have nothing to lose.

Problems

Some of you may have had trouble accessing Invigra in the last few days. This is because we are in the process of moving our Invigra.Net domain host. Unfortunately this resulted in it pointing to nothing for about 30 hours.
We have now resolved this and everything is back to normal. However, the process hasn’t finished yet so we may encounter further difficulties down the line.
Why are we doing this?
This has been asked by quite a few people and with the problems we have been having, it is a fair question.
We are in the final stages of transforming the Invigra website and bringing the domain onto the same servers as the actual site makes long term sense and will result in less confusion.
Currently, when you type www.invigra.net you actually get diverted to www.invigra.org which causes confusion with users and also search engines. This practice worked for us previously as we would often move servers, but now we are an internet host and the site is hosted through our own company there is no need for this anymore and we are keen to get everything under one roof.
We realise that short term this has and may still cause issues but in the long term it will be a success.
Please bear with us!

Sunshine

I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine. I think it was long overdue following our awful winter that felt like it was never going to end. Hopefully you have still found some time to explore the new Invigra site including our new music video site. We are very excited about this new project as it is finally a chance after many years at a replacement for our radio station Queensway FM that we had to shut due to financial pressures.

This new service allows you to register and then suggest your own videos. As long as they work (and are clean) we will add them to the service. We are still tinkering at the edges with the new sites, but as soon as we finish, we will begin the website reviews.

New Design

Hopefully you will have noticed that we have a brand new site design and have reverted back to using the .Net domain name. We are focussing more on web hosting and the fact we are an internet portal. >net reflects this better. We are still a UK site and still utilise the .co.uk domain. We would be pleased to hear your views and thoughts on our new design. We have also been working on a music video site that we launched at the same time. It is still work in progress but it is fully functioning with just some minor mods required.

Welcome Back

I decided that the blog should be brought back so there is an area within Invigra to discuss updates to the site, changes on the horizon and discuss web sites and other stuff that is happening on the internet. The blog was originally started in May 2008 and was last used in 2009 as we have been spending most of the time updating the site. We will try to ensure it is updated regularly and is a useful reource.
